Federal Land Records Review

There is much to be learned about an area's history from the Federal Land and Survey records.  in order to develop a baseline of information about original Federal land surveys and transfers of title to land in the Cornville-Page Springs community, copies of survey plats, master title plats, historical index pages, and most of the land patents issued have been compiled for Townships 15 & 16 North, Range 4 East, Gila-Salt River Meridian, Yavapai County, which is now the postal area of the unincorporated community of Cornville, Arizona.

The report features a color map showing all the Federal land homestead and other patents issued between 1880 and 1984 in the Cornville-Page Springs area.  Copies of the report, titled "Cornville Federal Land Records Review Project", revised in 2017, are available from the Cornville Historical Society, P.O. Box 1200, Cornville, AZ 86325, for $10.00 per copy, plus $2.00 for postage.
